Steve Jobs não era só o fundador da Apple, empresa que dispensa maiores comentários. Ele foi uma das pessoas que mais capitalizou sua imagem em função da empresa ,como poucos antes o fizeram. Tanto que Jobs e Apple eram praticamente sinônimos. 

Os livros de História falarão desse ícone das comunicações, que, sem inventar nada, reinventou tudo. A partir de coisas que já estavam por aí, como o PC, a música digital, o entretenimento pela web, mesclou tudo de forma magistral e visionária. Tanto que, quando lembrarmos de objetos de uma época, estarão sem duvida entre esses o iPod, iPad, iPhone. Jobs marcou a forma do planeta se relacionar com a arte, sem esquecer o business. Tudo de forma elegante, limpa no visual, clara. Inovou também ao criar a idolatria ao empresário. Todo o carinho, amor e fanatismo que as pessoas sempre depositaram ao seu artista preferido foram também a ele direcionados, em um caso quase único (talvez Bill Gates seja outro exemplo, de modo muito menos simpático e charmoso).

O mundo sobreviverá sem Jobs. A Apple, muito provavelmente. Vários de nós é que ficaremos imaginando como é que conseguimos viver antes dele.
